Dr. David R. Hunter moved to Arizona as a young boy in 1963. He grew up in North Phoenix, graduating with honors from Sunnyslope High School in 1973.
Dr. Hunter completed dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia in 1983. His honors included membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), an honorary institution for academic excellence. In 1986, Dr. Hunter completed a general practice residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Thereafter, he pursued a three-year program in graduate orthodontics at the University of Missouri at Kansas City where he received his specialty certificate. Practicing in Arizona since 1989, Dr. Hunter is a well-known Glendale orthodontic specialist.
Dr. Hunter and his wife, Susan, are the parents of four children – Jennifer, Jason, Jordan and Joel – and grandparents to three grandchildren. When Dr. Hunter is not busy with his patients, he enjoys boating, camping and golfing.
